Apple takes the head, becomes the world's largest manufacturer of mobile

Apple passed Samsung in Q4 2016 rival to grab the position of manufacturers and retailers the largest global phones, according to the study by research firm Strategy Analytics.

Apple sold about 800,000 units more than Samsung, reaching a total of 78.3 million units last quarter, giving themselves a market share of 17.8% compared with 17.7% as has Samsung.

The news may not be so unexpected as Samsung in the past few months has canceled one of its phones more promising this year, phablet Galaxy Note 7, in November last year after problems with its battery.

Although Apple saw a steady growth of 5% in shipments from Q4 2015 to Q4 2016 more than 2.5 million Samsung devices were withdrawn from the market and this amount would have easily secured the position of world leader South Korean company, if things had gone smoothly for him.

But if you take all the full year 2016, Apple still lags behind Samsung, with a market share of 14.5% compared with 20.8% as has Samsung.
