Apple sued for monopolizing applications for iPhone
An appeals court has ruled that Apple must face charges and a lawsuit alleging that the company has monopolized the market for iPhone applications.
The Court of Appeal reversed on Thursday a decision by a lower court and ruled that buyers applications will file a claim are direct buyers of applications for the iPhone from Apple, rather than by developers of applications, and so the claim remained.
30 qindëshin buyers reject the "add", which they pay for Apple. The company collects 30 percent of revenue from third-party apps in its store, in a closed system in which Apple controls which applications can work on an iPhone, according to court records.
