Apple sold 2.5 million iPhone only in India

In the last quarter of last year, the company has sold 62 percent of all devices 'premium' in India, priced at about 450 dollars.
However, total sales, Apple is nowhere near the top. 2016 Indian market was dominated by Samsung with 24 percent followed by Vivo with 10 percent. In third place were Xiaomi and Lenovo with 9 percent.
Counterpoint reports that Chinese companies combined have 46 percent market share in 2016, while in the previous year was only 14 percent.
Apple still has difficulty to achieve high rates of markets due to high prices and small marketing spending
